Lee & Lee Structural Engineering Inc is a professional structural consulting firm.

Established in January of 1989 with two structural engineers and drafters.
We at Lee & Lee take pride in all of the work that we do. Utilizing the latest computer technology and designing software, our office is able to provide the most optimal design and accurate calculations, providing expedient service for all our clients.
We continue to maintain the highest standard in structural consulting and engineering by constantly upgrading and meeting new demands in our professional field.

In our pursuit of excellence to design and engineer buildings in a safe and economical manner, we use sound fundamental concepts and the newest available technology.

Structural Engineer

Mr. Lee has been responsible for the structural design and project administration forlarge-scale building structures, including institutional structures, high-rise commercial buildings, hotels, and entertainment facilities. His responsibilities include primary client contact, selection and design of structural systems, direction of construction document preparation, and construction administration.

In addition to his experience in structural design, Mr. Lee has extensive experience in the evaluation of earthquake safety of structures, and he has directed numerous projects investigating the seismic behavior of structures. These projects involved developing seismic loading criteria, performing earthquake engineering analysis, and preparing construction documents for seismic mitigation work when required. He has also had much experience and particular personal interest in the area of restoration and seismic rehabilitation of buildings.

Mr. Lee holds a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California, with a specific focus on Structural Engineering. He has continued to advance his studies after Graduate school at the University of Southern California’s School of Engineering. He was an instructor of undergraduate concrete and steel structure engineering courses at the Dept. of Architectural Engineering, Hanyang University and Gunkook University, as well as teaching at the Dong-Yang Technical College in Korea as an Assistant Professor of Architectural Engineering. He currently resides in Southern California, where he is a registered Civil and Structural Engineer in California and Korea.

Mr. Hwang has been working for the structural design and project administration for several types of building structures, including high-rise structures, commercial buildings, hotels, retail buildings, and residential buildings. His responsibilities include primary client contact, selection and design of structural systems, direction of construction document preparation, and construction administration.
